1. Acceptance of Terms

By engaging Haulin' Okanagan ("the Company") for moving services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before booking your move.

2. Quotes and Estimates

Quotes provided are based on the information supplied by the customer. Final pricing may vary based on actual inventory, distance, and time spent on the move. Any additional services requested on the day of the move will be charged accordingly.

3. Booking and Cancellation

• A deposit may be required to secure your booking date.
• Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled move may be subject to a cancellation fee.
• Rescheduling is subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

4. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

• Ensuring all items are packed securely (unless packing services are booked)
• Being present or having an authorized representative present during the move
• Providing clear access to both pickup and delivery locations
• Notifying us of any high-value or exceptionally fragile items beforehand

5. Liability and Insurance

While we take every precaution to protect your belongings, the Company's liability is limited to standard industry coverage unless additional insurance is purchased. We are not liable for:

• Internal damage to electronics without external signs of mishandling
• Damage to items packed by the customer
• Damage caused by extraordinary circumstances (weather, traffic, etc.)

6. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of the move unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept major credit cards, e-transfers, and cash. Items may be held until payment is received in full.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada.
